Blowing snow with wind gusts to 34. Windchill of 9.
BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT
11 to 16 inches with more possible. Winds sustained around 35 with gusts to 50 at times. Heavy blowing snow and drifting will be possible.
Depending on track, rain could mix in during the height of the storm across eastern Long Island and coastal CT.
Snow will begin Sunday morning, becoming heavy later in the day, eventually ending Monday morning.

The latest computer models show this weekends snowstorm heading out to sea. We may see a few flurries or even a snow shower or two but don’t count on any accumulations. Cold weather will maintain it’s icy grip so keep your jacket handy.

HELLO COLD AIR, WELCOME BACK
36 in the Big Apple right now with winds beginning to pick. Arctic air is sliding in so throw on your heavy jacket when you leave the job site. A few flakes are also flying so don’t be surprised to see some.
Temps will drop into the upper teens and low twenties tonight with windchills in the single digits to near 0.
Tomorrows high will not get out of the mid 20’s.
STORM ON IT'S WAY FOR SUNDAY
Currently 39 in the Big Apple with cloudy skies. The impending storm is currently bashing the midwest with blizzard conditions. 14 inches of snow and counting in Minneapolis, temp 16. For us, rain begins after midnight, low 38.
SUNDAY: rain, heavy at times. Temps will rise into the low 50’s with south winds of 15 to 22mph. 1 inch of rain is likely.
