WEATHER PATTERN FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS
The sustained cold has given up for now here in the east. Temps are expected to zoom into the 50’s, maybe even 60 in the NYC area come Friday…spring fever will hit hard this year.
By Sunday, cooler more seasonable air will move in with highs around 40 and lows in the 20’s. For the next two to three weeks shots of cold air will slip in and out of the region. Snow will also be possible for areas north of interstate 70. South of 70, conditions will remain on the warmer side.
The end of March into April is showing signs of cold air setting up shop in the east for a couple weeks, with the chance for late season snows. Last spring we warmed up quickly, that scenario does not look likely this coming spring.
