PREP YOUR SHOVELS NORTH AND WEST OF THE CITY…SNOW/RAIN/MIX ROLLS IN TONIGHT
Was the 77 degree reading we had on Friday a dream, or was it just a cruel joke played on us by Mother Nature?
The above map shows snow fall totals for the approaching storm. It will be updated during the day. Due to the high angle of the sun this time of the year, snow will have a tough time sticking on roadways during daylight hours. Nighttime will be a different story.
The city will see some snow, with a mix most of the time. North and west of the City, accumulations could be in anywhere from 3 to 8 inches.
TIMING OF THE STORM: Snow or mix begins early Wednesday morn around 5am. Snow, mix and rain continue through Wednesday. WEDNESDAY NIGHT, precipitation becomes all snow across the entire area, accumulations possible. The high temp for Wed. will be 37. The low will be 30 on Wednesday night.
Updates to come.
